Hi! I'm Kaley, the creator of this little corner of the internet. 

The Hermana Blog is something my sister and I started up years ago. We wanted a space where women could ask hard questions and get true answers. The feel we desired was raw and real, as if we were pulling back the curtain on Christianity and exposing that Jesus is, indeed, the One behind it all. We all crave a safe space with our sisters to process life and spirituality, so we named it "Hermana," or "sister" in Spanish.

So, what is this blog all about? Why relaunch?

The thought of relaunching this blog has been a ringing bell inside my mind for a while now. It was an incredible space I long to live in again... to not have to be Instagram perfect, write like no one is watching, and imagine I'm passing you a note across the table while we're sipping coffee. So, today, I'm finally doing it. And, I'm asking some friends to join me along the way. 

You'll find in this blog Biblical teaching, thought leadership, monthly themes, encouragement, recipes, date night or family ideas, lots of guest contributors... and hopefully a lot of laughs or a few tears if you need a good cry.

My prayer is that these writings speak to you, illuminate the Word of God like a lamp unto your feet, and allow you to share Truth with the world around you. I hope you know you belong here.
