Hi! My name is Kaley Rivera Thompson and I'm a writer, worship leader, speaker and Go and Tell Gals certified coach. My passion to champion women in their walk with Christ has led me to lead worship for churches and Bible teach for women’s ministries across the nation. As a busy, working wife and mom of three, I know the importance of being able to practically access time to talk to God and learn from the Bible so I started serving up on-the-go devotionals over on the “Miracle in the Mess” podcast..
At the start of middle school, I jumped on my church worship team and picked up a guitar. I’ve never been able to put it down. Worship was the weapon that saw me through an eating disorder as well as long seasons of anxiety and depression. It’s now how I help others encounter the God who fights for them. Worship music has opened doors for me to sing internationally and serve on incredible teams such as Appalachian State’s Black Gospel Choir, CRU, Elevation Worship and music direct at Forest Hill Church. I now lead at Lifepointe Church in Fort Mill, SC.
I’ve had the honor of releasing three devotional books: Matrimony, Motherhood, and Me, "This Will Be A Sign to You,” and "As You Wander.” Throughout my writing career, I’ve had the opportunity to stand behind pastors, ministry leaders and nonprofits to produce 10 books and numerous ebooks and blogs. You can find my singles "Worshipping," "For the Better," and "This Old Cup" on Spotify and iTunes. When I'm not playing my guitar, copywriting, or Instablogging, I spend my time playing with my kids, hiking, candle making, or sipping coffee. I currently live in Fort Mill, South Carolina with my husband, Gage, my daughters, Adelina, Liliana and Cecilia and goofy mini bernedoodle, Gus. You can find me and follow along at @kriverathompson. |
