Matrimony, Motherhood and Me
Two Months of Miracles and Mess
You are a person. I know it’s crazy. But, you are. You are a person with a soul and a calling and a God who loves you so much that He appointed you to be a wife and mom.
Though you're witnessing miracles like bringing children into this world and dinner actually coming out of the oven without setting the house on fire, this is possibly the toughest season of your life. It's mine too. So, let's struggle well and lock arms while we raise up the next generation and stick together like glue to our family.
Listen, God’s call for us all is to challenge and change the statistics. We can have marriages that last, are exciting, and thriving. We can be mothers who create community, bring life into the world around them, and raise up the next generation of Christian leaders in our country. We can also find time for personal growth and care so that we are not running on empty but living out a full life.
Matrimony, Motherhood, and Me is a workbook-style devotional book for the young married mom longing to redefine her view of marriage, purpose, and placement. It’s for the woman longing to discover who God made her to be in the midst of the miracles and mess.
Instead of letting life drain her dry, she will be inspired by these writings to overflow a real faith in her family, leave a legacy of love, and find the extraordinary things God has in store for ordinary days.

This Will Be A Sign To You:
25 Days of Bringing Heaven Home This December
Would you believe me if I said God still uses signs today? That there was something (well, some things really) still pointing people to Christ at Christmas thousands of years after His birth? What if I told you the sign we’re all looking for is... us?
Yes, you and me. God made us the sign that points all people to a Savior. When Jesus ascended into heaven, He gave us this crazy gift of the Holy Spirit and an audacious commission to tell all the world about Him.
What a radical thing. We are now the stars showing His way. We are the ones shouting about His birth. God is holding us up in our communities, work places, homes, and churches saying, “Ok everyone, listen up. This is good news of great joy for all people. Today, in our town, this person right here has come alive in Christ. The way they live their life will be a sign to you. A sign of my love, goodness, and glory. I have come and I am still here. Can’t you see me in them?"
Putting God’s love, grace, and mercy on full display is a big job. So, we’re going to take the next month to get laser-focused on bringing the joy of Christmas from heaven into our home. We're going to live out the intent behind Advent, simplify this season, reflect, and party.
I can’t wait to start this journey with you, your Bible study group, and family. I’m ready in my flannel pj’s with some hot cocoa. The cartoon version of the Grinch is playing in the background (aka my kids are adequately distracted). Now, let’s zero in on how God wants to use you to shine His light in this season.
Are you ready? December, here we come!
